Voicing Computational Creativity is an initiative of the chair Interaction Design within the framework of Fontys High Tech Systems and Materials HTSM. The central research question is how to support creative sessions of human task forces and development teams with intelligent technology. Most related studies look at visual support. Voicing Computational Creativity has a focus on technology that can listen to human speech and produces audible feedback.
The project has been awarded HTSM funds and has a limited time scope from September 1st, 2019 to January 31st, 2020. Start-up company Studio Krom is involved as a business partner.
Results of the Voicing Computational Creativity project will be used to strengthen the main IXD research efforts on professional games. According to research manager Wouter Sluis-Thiescheffer, the same feedback mechanisms between humans and technology apply to both fields of interest.
