Final paper and demonstration

Researchers Olaf Janssen, Bernd-Jan Witkamp and Tom Langhorst presented the outcomes of the Nano4Sports research initiative at the SECSI 2019 Science & Engineering Conference at Eindhoven University of Technology. Their findings are documented in a concise research paper that is part of the published conference proceedings. On February 7th 2020 at Strijp-TQ in Eindhoven de Nano4Sports research project was officially completed with an all-day demonstration and a word of appreciation by professor Mark de Graaf, head of the research chair Interaction Design. The Nano4Sports demonstration was part of the programme of the ICT In Practice 2020 conference at Strijp TQ.

Overall Mark de Graaf concluded that the results of the research project were fully satisfactory and that Nao4Sports lived up to its expectations. The findings and methods of Nano4Sports will be transfered to the continuing The Vitality living lab project of the research chair Interaction Design. That project has a projected end date in Spring 2021.

The Nano4Sports paper can be found in the Proceedings of the 4th Science & Engineering Conference on Sports Innovation.
