Chatbots & eHealth is a permanent research theme of the center of expertise Interaction Design IXD.
Interaction Design participated in the Technology for Society TEC4S project on Chatbots & eHealth from August 2018 to February 2019. Results of the project were presented at the De Dingen de Baas exhibition during the Dutch Design Week 2018 in Eindhoven. Interaction Design continues its research in this field.

In general it is expected that human-robot interaction will greatly increase in the near future. The medical sector is one of the forerunners where robots and chatbots will assist or even take over the work of professionals. The research initiatives of Interaction Design are about how to create compassionate, benevolent and philanthropic robots that fit into a future environment that remains in accordance with human standards and human needs.
